Natural light is light that is not made by humans.

Artificial light is light that is made by humans.

Emitting and Reflecting light

Reflecting

Reflecting means if a light hits an object then it will bounce up at your eye and you will be able to see it.

Some things that reflect are.

Emitting

Emitting means that some thing makes light.

Some things that Emit light are.

how does light travel

Light travels in a straight line.

I did an experiment and i got a piece of paper and cut the paper in four i cut a hole in the middle of the papers and then i put the paper in a strait line then i turned the light off. I shined a flash  lite in the hole and it went to the last one.

What makes a good reflector?

A good reflector is a mirror because it is shiny and flat.

The worst reflector is a black paper because it is not  shiny.

 

Transparent , translucent and opaque

An example is a backpack , table and houses.

Refraction

Refraction is when you put an object like a pencil or a coin in water it looks like it gets bigger.

the pencil did not get bigger it just looks like it gets  bigger because in the two different medium the air is less dense and in the water it is more dense so it looks bigger.
